Exhibitors at EFD always offer the newest and most innovative products to
Northeast producers. Some exhibitors are going a step further and providing
short clinics on their exhibit lot to provide an expanded program to show
goers.
“How to Buy Your First Tractor” will be presented daily at 10
am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 2 pm all three days of the show by John Deere right on
their Exhibitor Lot #822. Landowners who are looking to purchase their first
Compact Tractor will benefit from this short clinic. What to look for, what
questions to ask and how to determine what you need will all be covered. John
Deere will be giving away a power tool at each seminar. After, visitors will
be all set to go test drive in the Compact Tractor Driving Experience.
Cornell’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, SUNY @ Cobleskill,
SUNY @ Morrisville, and SUNY @ Alfred all come together to give students a
chance to explore their options in the field of agriculture. These leaders
in ag education are hosting the first-ever COLLEGE FAIR AT EFD on Thursday,
Aug. 11 at 11 am and 2 pm in the Special Events Center (#600). College representatives
will be on hand to answer questions and provide a glimpse of opportunities
to students.
